Aurora & Fjord Tour Guide — Northern Horizon (Tromsø)
Job Description
We're looking for energetic, people-focused guides who will keep guests safe, inspired and smiling on every Northern Lights and fjord excursion. Guiding experience is a plus—but passion, curiosity and a growth mindset matter most.
Hours
Full-time or part-time (flexible roster).
Season
- Winter season: 15 Sep – 15 Apr
- Summer season: 15 Jun – 15 Sep
Requirements
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Solid knowledge of Tromsø, Kvaløya and the Northern Lights
- Fluent English (additional languages a bonus)
- Day- and night-time photography know-how
- Full availability for the contract period
Responsibilities
- Lead small-group Northern Lights chases (set up camp, cook a light meal, shoot photos)
- Guide daytime scenic fjord tours
- Take, edit and deliver guest photographs
- Share Arctic knowledge and passion with visitors
- Perform other tour-related duties as needed

Arctic Minibus Driver — Northern Horizon (Tromsø)
Job Description
We're seeking skilled, safety-minded drivers who can handle Arctic roads and deliver warm hospitality on every tour. If you enjoy meeting people as much as mastering winter conditions, you'll fit right in.
Hours
Full-time or part-time (flexible roster).
Season
- Winter season: 15 Sep – 15 Apr
- Summer season: 15 Jun – 15 Sep
Requirements
- Valid D / D1 licence and Kjøreseddel
- Proven winter & night-driving experience
- Friendly communication and social skills
- Fluent English (extra languages a plus)
Responsibilities
- Drive guests safely on Northern Lights and fjord tours
- Welcome passengers, share basic tour info and assist guides
- Keep the minibus clean, fuelled and photo-ready
- Perform other tour-support duties as assigned
